The guitars in these photos are custom built midi capable guitars. These instruments have Honduran mahogany bodies, spruce tops, 5 piece maple and mahogany necks. The headstock design allows for a straight pull of the strings to improve tuning accuracy. I do not build guitars for resale.
SG Style Build
This guitar body is Honduras mahogany with a spruce top. The guitar is chambered to increase resonance and to relieve weight. The pickups are Lace Alumitone™ with single volume knob, tone knob, and pickup selector switch. The bridge is a Graphtech Ghost™ bridge for midi and acoustic guitar sound. Acoustic sound controls consist of a push pull knob for volume and tone. Midi control is a volume knob and an up down patch selector switch. The ghost system is powered through a separate 13 pin jack so output may be channeled to a separate amplifier. The neck is a thin taper with a 9" finger board radius, on a 24 fret bound ebony fingerboard. Tuners are Steinberger gearless with a 40:1 ratio. All hardware is black chrome.
Custom DC Design
This guitar body is Honduras mahogany with a spruce top and hand crafted ebony tail piece. The guitar is chambered to increase resonance and to relieve weight. The pickups are Lace Alumitone™ with a single volume, and tone control with selector switch. The bridge is a Graphtech Ghost™ bridge. Acoustic sound control is a push pull knob for volume and tone, Midi control is an up down patch switch and volume knob. Midi and acoustic is powered through a separate 13 pin jack. The neck is thin tapered with a compound 9:11 fingerboard radius, and a 24 fret bound ebony fingerboard. The tuners are Grover locking with an 18:1 ratio. All hardware is gold plated.
